Berne Township Fire Department to
Conduct Controlled Burn

    Lancaster, Ohio, November 2 -- Fairfield County Engineer, Frank W. Anderson issued the following travel advisory:

    The motoring public is advised that on Saturday, November 11, 2000, the Berne Township Fire Department will conduct a controlled burn of a house at 3303 Old Logan Road SE (CR 86), which is near Alley Park.

    Traffic will be maintained by the fire department.  However, due to a potential of smoke across the roadway and numerous pieces of fire equipment and personnel involved, it would be best to avoid this area of Old Logan Road SE on Saturday between the hours of
8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
