Lancaster, Ohio, October 27 -- County Engineer, Frank W. Anderson, announced today that the Carroll Northern Road Improvement Project scheduled for this construction season will be postponed until the spring of 2001 as a result of co-ordination difficulties with the Norfolk and Southern Railroad.

This project will widen and resurface the section of Carroll Northern Road NW from Basil Western Road NW to State Route 256. In addition, the road profile is to be corrected at the railroad crossing. The contract for this project has been awarded to the Shelly Company of Thornville, Ohio.
