FAIRFIELD COUNTY ENGINEER

 

 

Frank was appointed Fairfield County Engineer on June 7, 1995 to complete the term of retiring Engineer Robert C. Reef.  Frank was then elected to the Office of Engineer in November 1996, November 2000, November 2004, and again in November 2008.

 

Frank graduated from Ohio State University with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering in 1973.  He earned his Professional Engineer License in 1979 and Professional Surveyor License in 1985.

 

Prior to becoming County Engineer, Frank spent 13 years with the Ohio Department of Transportation in various capacities including, Area Engineer, Hydraulics Section Designer, and Bridge and Structural Design.  Before ODOT, Frank worked in the private sector and with the Muskingum County Engineer.

 

Frank is a member of the County Engineer's Association of Ohio where he has served on the Peer Review Committee.  Frank also belongs to the American Society of Civil Engineers, National Association of County Engineers, Engineer's Club of Columbus, Ohio State University Alumnae Association, OSU Civil Engineering Association, Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, and the Lancaster Sertoma Club.  Frank served as Sertoma Club President in 2000-2001.

 

Frank is the 2000 recipient of the Franklin County Chapter OSPE/CECO QBS Award and the 2000 recipient of the Ohio OSPE/CECO QBS Award
