PRESS RELEASE
(IMMEDIATE RELEASE)
The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is
announcing that the HOC-44 Bridge, located on the overpass of Broad Street on
Memorial Drive at Cinci Park, is being rehabilitated.
Phase 1 of this project will be complete on Monday, May 23, 2011.
The southbound lanes of Memorial Drive between West Walnut Street and Old
Logan Road will reopen at this time.
Once these lanes reopen, Phase 2 of this project will begin, and the northbound
lanes of Memorial Drive between West Walnut Street and Old Logan Road will close
for approximately 30 days. Detour
routes will be posted. Contact

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that
the following road in BERNE TOWNSHIP will be closed for guardrail replacement.
According to Fairfield County Engineer, Frank W. Anderson:
Sugar Grove Road (CR50) will be closed beginning Monday May 23, 2011
for approximately three (3) weeks for guardrail replacement.
This closure will be between Eckert Road and Hickory Hill Drive between
house numbers 3345 and 4360. Local
traffic only will be maintained.
The
traveling public must PROCEED WITH CAUTION in this area as guardrail will be
removed during this time!

The Fairfield County
Engineer’s Office is announcing that the following road in
North Columbus Street in the City of
Lancaster will be closed beginning
Monday, May 23, 2011 until approximately July 29, 2011 for the replacement of
the GRE-42 Bridge. This closure will
be between Berwick Drive and N. Pershing Drive with construction taking place at
1609 North Columbus Street.

the following road in BLOOM TOWNSHIP has reopened to traffic.
Marcy Road (CR41) between Cedar Hill Road and Sitterley Road
(between house number 10110 and Sitterley Road) has reopened to traffic.
Construction will continue in this area for approximately eight (8)
additional weeks. Local traffic will
be maintained; however, the public should expect delays.

Due to unforeseen site conditions and weather conditions,
Marcy Road (CR41) will remain closed until approximately Thursday, May 12, 2011.
This closure is between Cedar Hill Road and Sitterley Road with
construction taking place between house number 10110 and Sitterley Road.
Once this closure reopens to traffic, construction will
continue between Cedar Hill Road and Sitterley Road for approximately eight (8)
additional weeks. Local traffic
will be maintained; however, the public should expect delays.
