The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that
the following roads in RICHLAND TOWNSHIP will be closed for a profile
improvement project. According to
Fairfield County Engineer, Frank W. Anderson:
Pleasantville Road (CR17) and Gun Barrel Road (Twp Rd 413) will be
closed for approximately 7 weeks for a profile improvement project beginning
Monday, August 29, 2011.
Pleasantville Road will be closed between Indian Run Road and Oakthorpe Road
between house numbers 7600 and 7820.
Gun Barrel Road will be closed between house number 5872 and Pleasantville Road.

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office has contracted with
Kokosing Construction Company to make repairs and resurface Election House Road
between CR33A and Coonpath Road.
Kokosing Construction Company will begin pavement repairs on Wednesday, August
17th and continue Thursday, August 18th, followed later with an
overlay of this area. During
construction, traffic will be maintained, but drivers should expect delays and
possibly avoid this area while work is being performed.

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that
the following road in VIOLET TOWNSHIP will be closed for a bridge replacement.
Basil-Western Road (CR13) will be closed Monday, August 22, 2011
until approximately September 30, 2011 for the replacement of the VIO-13 Bridge.
This closure will be between Allen Road and Carroll Northern Road with
construction taking place between Allen Road and house number 6864 Basil-Western
Road.

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that
the following road in BERNE TOWNSHIP will be closed for a bridge replacement.
Sugar Grove Road (CR50) will be closed Monday, August 22, 2011 until
approximately October 28, 2011 for the replacement of the BER-30 Bridge.
This closure will be between Eckert Road and Crawfis Road with
construction taking place between house numbers 3279 and 3160.

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office would like to make
the following announcements regarding Winchester Road in BLOOM TOWNSHIP:
Winchester Road (CR23) between Diley Road and Mason Road (between
house numbers 9935 and 9715) has reopened to traffic.
Winchester Road (CR23) will be closed beginning Monday, August 15,
2011 for approximately three weeks for a culvert replacement.
This closure will be between Benson Road and Amanda Northern Road between
house numbers 8215 and 8280.
