PRESS RELEASE                                      (IMMEDIATE RELEASE)

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that the following road in BLOOM TOWNSHIP has reopened to traffic.

Amanda Northern Road (CR16) has reopened to traffic.  This closure was at the intersection of Marcy Road between Otterbein Trail and Alspach Road with construction that took place between house numbers 846 Amanda Northern Road and 1045 Amanda Northern Road.

Marcy Road (CR41) remains closed at this time.  Marcy Road will open in stages as construction continues.  Notices will be released to the public as this occurs.

PRESS RELEASE                                    (IMMEDIATE RELEASE)

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that the following road in VIOLET TOWNSHIP will be closed for road repairs.

Basil-Western Road (CR13) will be closed Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. daily for approximately four weeks.  This closure will be between Hill Road and Pickerington Road between house numbers 9845 and 8021.  Local traffic will be maintained; however, the public should expect delays.

PRESS RELEASE                                      (IMMEDIATE RELEASE)

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that the following roads in BLOOM TOWNSHIP will be closed for a road improvement project.

Amanda Northern Road (CR16) will close at the intersection of Marcy Road Monday, April 26, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. for approximately one week.  This closure will be between Otterbein Trail and Alspach Road with construction taking place between house numbers 846 Amanda Northern Road and 1045 Amanda Northern Road.

Marcy Road (CR41) between Amanda Northern Road and Heister Road will close Monday, April 26, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. for approximately one week.  Construction will take place between the intersection of Amanda Northern Road and house number 8555 Marcy Road.

Marcy Road (CR41) between Amanda Northern Road and Sitterley Road will close Monday, April 26, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. for approximately 15 weeks.  Construction will take place between house number 9275 Marcy Road and 9058 Marcy Road.

PRESS RELEASE                                      (IMMEDIATE RELEASE)

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that the following road in GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP will be closed for a bridge repair.

Carroll Southern Road (CR34) will be closed for approximately two weeks beginning Wednesday, April 7, 2010 for a bridge repair.  This road will be closed between Carroll Cemetery Road and US33 with construction taking place between house number 4459 Carroll Southern Road and US33.
