PRESS RELEASE (IMMEDIATE RELEASE)
The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing the opening of the GRE-21 Bridge in GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP. This bridge is located on Camp Ground Road between Lithopolis Road and Wilson Road near the intersection of Lithopolis Road. Due to construction of this bridge, Lithopolis Road at the intersection of Camp Ground Road between Carroll Southern Road and Collins Road (between house numbers 3695 Lithopolis Road and 3145 Lithopolis Road) was also closed. Lithopolis Road will open later today.
During the replacement of the GRE-21 Bridge, excessive truck traffic crossing the GRE-22 Bridge located on Camp Ground Road (south of the new bridge) caused it to sustain damage. Therefore, Camp Ground Road will remain closed to through traffic until approximately December 4, 2009 for deck repairs to the GRE-22 Bridge. The closure of this road remains between Lithopolis Road and Wilson Road but has been moved between house number 1384 and 1424.

The Fairfield County Engineer’s office is announcing the following road opening BLOOM TOWNSHIP on the date shown according to Fairfield County Engineer Frank W. Anderson:
Lithopolis Road (CR 39) opened Friday, November 20, 2009, after the replacement of a bridge (BLO-31). The closure was between the Village of Lithopolis corporation line and State Route 674.

PRESS RELEASE (IMMEDIATE RELEASE)
The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that the following road in GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP will be closed for a culvert replacement.
Coonpath Road (CR31) will be closed for approximately two days for a culvert replacement beginning at 7:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2009. This closure will be between CR33A and Election House Road between house numbers 3054 and 3150.

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that the following road in HOCKING TOWNSHIP will be closed for a culvert replacement.
Hamburg Road (CR55) will be closed Wednesday, November 18, 2009 from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for a culvert replacement. This closure will be between Mill Road and South Broad Street between house numbers 281 and 375.

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that the following road in HOCKING TOWNSHIP will be closed for a culvert replacement.
Hamburg Road (CR55) will be closed Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for a culvert replacement. This closure will be between Mill Road and South Broad Street between house numbers 1235 and 1273.

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that the following road in GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP will be closed for bridge replacement work.
Lithopolis Road (CR39) will be closed Monday, November 9, 2009 for approximately 18 days for tie-in work, final grading, and paving in connection with the bridge replacement on Camp Ground Road. This closure will be on Lithopolis Road at the intersection of Camp Ground Road between Carroll Southern Road and Collins Road (between house numbers 3695 Lithopolis Road and 3145 Lithopolis Road).

The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office is announcing that the following road in BERNE TOWNSHIP and HOCKING TOWNSHIP will be closed for road repairs.
B.I.S. Road (CR90) will be closed Monday, November 9, 2009 from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. daily for approximately five days. This closure will be between Ross Road and the Southeastern Correctional Institution between house numbers 3795 and 5300. Local traffic will be maintained; however, the public should expect delays.
